Preparing for Installation
For optimal results, we recommend laying the Smart Film flat with its corners weighed down for at least 48 hours before installation. This ensures a smoother application process.

Remember to make cuts for electrical connections before applying the Smart Film. This is crucial for a seamless installation.
On a flat, non-abrasive surface, align the film to a straight edge to cut to size. This precision is key in smart film installation.

Sizing Your Smart Film:

Applying Silver Paste:
Use the syringes of silver paste included in the E-Kit. Apply a thin line of the paste to each side of the exposed areas, and spread it evenly with a brush. This step is vital for effective smart film installation.
Soldering and Wiring
Whether you choose to solder before or after applying the film depends on your comfort level. Use wire cutters and a soldering iron to attach electrical wires to the copper strips. Ensure the solder hardens properly for a secure smart film installation.

Soldering Process:
Applying the Smart Film
After your smart film is cut and prepped, fully clean and remove dust from your glass surface. Apply the film, ensuring all corners and edges are secure to prevent peeling. A small bead of silicone around the edges can be applied if excessive moisture is a concern.

Initial Film Application:
Finally, remove the top protective layer to reveal the finished Ghost Glass film. Ensure the film is free of air bubbles and aligned correctly on your glass surface.
