PDLC switchable privacy film is an electrically activated film applied directly to glass. When power is applied, the film transitions to a transparent state. When power is off, the film returns to a frosted privacy state that diffuses visibility while still allowing natural light to pass through.Ghost Glass™ Switchable Privacy Film is a low-voltage smart film system, not a standard decorative window film. Each system includes the film, a properly sized power supply, and a control method. Depending on the project, the system can be operated through a wall switch, remote, or compatible smart control system.
The film transitions instantly from frosted to clear, allowing privacy when needed without adding separate window treatments. This makes it a practical smart privacy solution for spaces that need flexibility throughout the day.

The film surface can be cleaned with a lint-free cloth and approved cleaning solution. Power should be turned off before cleaning, and liquid should be kept away from film edges, wiring, and busbar areas to help protect long-term performance.
